BEHAVIOURAL CONTROL LABRETREAT 2018

In 2018, the labs of Roshan Cools, Ester Aarts, and Hanneke den Ouden organized a joint lab retreat to discuss the future of science, including big questions and challenges in the field of cognitive neuroscience.

The labs engaged in various workshops on the topic ‘The Future of Science’, including 1) big questions and challenges in the field of cognitive neuroscience and how to tackle them, 2) how to improve transparency, openness and reproducibility in the field of cognitive neuroscience, 3) as well as the future of scientific training – how can we adjust training to prepare researchers for a diversity of careers? Beside these workshops the labs participated in a media training workshop aimed to train the labs in how to communicate their science to lay audiences, given by Radboud in’to Languages.
