Marije Mars obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Utrecht University, majoring in Cognitive Psychology. She is now in her second year of the research master in Cognitive Neuroscience at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, and is currently doing her internship under supervision of Lieke Hofmans. In her internship she will focus on the role of average reward on the flexibility-stability trade-off in cognitive control mediated by dopamine. In addition to this project she will be assisting Eliana Vassena in a study on medial prefrontal cortex and dorsolateral prefrontal cortex interactions in prediction and motivational engagement.
