Marieke van der Schaaf | Alumna
Marieke van der Schaaf completed an undergraduate degree in clinical neuropsychology at the free university in Amsterdam as well as a Neuroscience and Cognition Master’s degree at the University of Utrecht . During her PhD project in the group, Marieke focused on the role of dopamine in reward- and punishment-based reversal learning. Marieke is now postdoctoral researcher at the Expert Centre for Chronic Fatigue at the UMC St Radboud, Nijmegen. In corroboration with the Donders Centre for Cognitive Neuroimaging (PI: Ivan Toni) she is now investigating the neural mechanisms of change to mediate successful cognitive behavioral therapy for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
