Laura Barreiro Fernandez obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain), where she is now studying a Master's Degree in Neuroscience. After an internship at the Centre for Molecular Biology 'Severo Ochoa' (Spain), she is now joining the lab of Roshan Cools as an intern under the supervision of Jessica Määttä. Her project focuses on exploring the relationship between dopamine synthesis capacity (measured by PET) and spontaneous eye blink rate (measured by EOG).
